Last night was our first ever Ayrshire New Members Night!
After many years of successful Glasgow New Members Nights and seeing the increasing growth in the Ayrshire part of the group I thought it was time.
We had a great turn out in the Alton Inn in Kilwinning and pretty much had the pub to ourselves.
I had posted up a video an hour before the start time showing what I was wearing and letting people know what it would be like inside the pub. I don't really like doing videos as hate how I look and sound but it was lovely to hear one of the new members saying they were going to cancel coming along until they saw the video and felt positive about the experience and came along.
It was great to meet Kev & Jemma for the first time and our lovely existing members came along to support as though people may have been to several events they might not have met each other before. Always good to meet new people.
Lots of laughs and lots of fun chats.
On the downside there were a few no shows. It only takes seconds to send me a message.
Hope to see you all again soon and I will get another Ayrshire New Members Night on the calendar!
