Moments of the Month

At the end of the month we reflect on the great events we attended and share our favourites. 🎅

We started December waking up in Dundee after a fab weekend there seeing Oor Wullie at the Dundee Rep.

Next up the Ayrshire Group took part in Reclaim the Night Walk in Irvine to promote safety for women and girls from gender based violence. 🚶

We held our Christmas Book Groups and Secret Santas in both Glasgow and Ayrshire. 📖

Some of us headed off to the sun for the Malaga Christmas Markets for the weekend which was lovely to get some sunshine and good company. 🇪🇸

After getting a good relaxing break it was full on for the rest of December with gigs by The Bootleg Beatles, Heaven 17, Tony Hadley and Culture Club and Midge Ure. 🎶

A gorgeous performance of The Nutcracker by Scottish Ballet has us in tears of joy and all our pantos at Oran Mor, Panopticon and Tron had us in tears of laughter 😁

Festive Films at the GFT were Its A Wonderful Life, White Christmas and The Bishops Wife. 🎄

We partied at The Overs Club (thankfully we had booths to rest between dancing)💃🕺

Christmas Comedy Brunch at Van Winkle was a good laugh and apart from a young couple it was just us!

Glasgow Christmas Meal was at Mharsanta in The Hideout which was lovely as was our Ayrshire Christmas Dinner at Duncan's Bistro. 🥂

My last event of 2024 was a nice easy Twixmas Beach Walk which was lovely
